What is ExxonMobil Middle East and North Africa Scholars Program?
The ExxonMobil Middle East and North Africa Scholars Program is a highly competitive scholarship program which provides select student leaders from the Middle East and North Africa with a fully-funded scholarship towards the completion of a degree at a college or university in the United States.
The ExxonMobil Middle East and North Africa Scholars Program offers scholarship opportunities to pursue a Master’s degree in geoscience for students who have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Math or Geography. A limited number of Engineering and MBA scholarships will be available. NOTE: All MBA candidates must have a science, math or engineering background. Award Benefits
Recipients of the Middle East and North Africa Scholars Program receive:
- Full graduate tuition to attend a U.S. university
- Visa and academic support
- Housing and living expenses while in the U.S.
- Transportation to the U.S. at the beginning of the program and return to home country at the completion of the program
- Pre-academic training
- Medical insurance while in the U.S.
Application Timeline

The application cycle is ongoing, with two selection processes per year. The fourth application cycle will be open from November 16 - March 1, 2010
- The selection process will take place in April - May 2010. Academic instruction will begin in Spring 2011 through the completion of a Master's degree.
