Programs range from one-week professional exchanges and observational study tours to multi-year degree programs. All promote open dialogue for professionals to learn and exchange information freely. Some of IIE’s Global Development programs include the following:
Emerging Market Development Advisers Program (EMDAP): Under EMDAP, IIE recruits and deploys U.S. graduate business students to developing countries, where they provide management assistance during ten-month assignments as advisers to small and medium-sized enterprises. This USAID-funded program provides host institutions with high-quality medium-term technical assistance, while also giving advisers valuable international work experience.
