Daniela Z. Kaisth
Daniela Z. Kaisth is Vice President for Strategic Development at the Institute of International Education (IIE). Supervising a team of professionals based in New York and Washington, DC, she oversees fundraising, donor relations, and program development. Ms. Kaisth is responsible for raising unrestricted and endowment funds for the Institute and for supporting and coordinating proposal development and submission to public and private sector donors. She also manages IIE’s Alumni Research Project, New Leaders Group, and the endowment campaigns for the Scholar Rescue Fund and Fulbright Legacy Fund.
Prior to her current position, Ms. Kaisth served as Director of Development and Corporate Partnerships and Manager of Foundation Relations at the Institute. She has also worked as a development consultant, writer, and editor at various non-profit organizations in New York and Ottawa, Canada.
Ms. Kaisth received a Master’s Degree in International Affairs from Carleton University’s Norman Paterson School of International Affairs and a Diploma in International Studies from Johns Hopkins’ Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). She received a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa. She currently serves as a Board Member of the Outreach for Breast Health Foundation.
