Brian Chen

Brian Chen is the Institute's Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Mr. Chen oversees all Information Technology activities and initiatives, with responsibility for corporate systems, application development, database administration, network management, disaster planning and recovery, helpdesk, and associated Information Technology policies.

Prior to joining the Institute, Mr. Chen served as the Director of Application Development for Health Management Systems, Inc..   Mr. Chen is a results-oriented leader who manages corporate-wide change and provides strategic leadership through a balance of strong management and technical skills.  By building top-performing teams and resolving complex problems, he has developed and implemented strategic plans to effectively deliver customer service in a manner that is cost-effective and in alignment with the Institute’s business strategy and future goals. 

Mr. Chen holds a master’s degree in Computer and Information Science from Brooklyn College, City University of New York.  He has a Bachelor’s degree in statistics from National Chung-Hsing University in Taiwan.
