Peter Thompson is currently International Treasurer of PepsiCo, financing and overseeing the company's international investments. During the past twenty years he has also held positions as VP Finance of Pepsi North America and General Manager of Pepsi's operations in Central Europe and Russia, based in Vienna, where he developed both the soft drink business and extensive export programs in the region. Previously he worked on Wall Street with J.P. Morgan and as an aerospace engineer with the UK Department of Defense.

Mr. Thompson is a graduate of Cambridge University and studied further at London University and the University of Pennsylvania. He is a director of several Latin American companies and has been active in several sports and professional organizations, including the British Universities Sports Federation.

Mr. Thompson was elected to the Board of Trustees of the Institute of International Education in 2000 and currently serves as Chair of the Audit Committee.
