Welcome to "Notes from the Field," a collection of exciting, real-life experiences documented by current Fulbright Student Program grantees.

The Fulbright Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, is the U.S. Government’s flagship international exchange program. It enables U.S. students to gain experiences in every corner of the world, and develop international competence in an era of increasing global interdependence.

Studying in far-flung locales ranging from the Middle East to South America, these students are undertaking projects as diverse as an examination of journalism in Colombian society and the influence of vocational education for the deaf on Jordan's economy.

Click on one of the titles below to experience the world through the eyes of Fulbrighters, as reported to us in their quarterly "Notes from the Field."
