DEVELOPMENT TRAINING II A USAID Program
DT2's services include training needs assessments, setting objectives for training events, designing and implementing training solutions, measuring the results of training, and providing follow-on services for training alumni.
The Development Training II (DT2) Project is USAID/Egypt's centralized training program administered by the Institute of International Education. Since its inception in 1997, the DT2 Project has been challenged with designing and implementing an innovative and centralized training management system. DT2 works closely with USAID, Egyptian partner institutions, and technical assistance contractors to conduct training needs assessments to determine the human capacity requirements of the Egyptian partner institutions, DT2 then develops multi-year training plans to address those needs and to improve individual and institutional performance. The types of training programs offered under DT2 are diverse and include long and short-term programs conducted in Egypt, the United States, and other countries. The Project offers a variety of post-training services such as follow-on support and results monitoring.
