About the Program
Thank you for your interest in the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship. Since the inception of the Gilman Scholarship Program in 2001, 18,960 applications have been received and 4,728 scholarships have been awarded to students participating in study abroad programs.
The Gilman Scholarship Program seeks to diversify the kinds of students who study abroad and the countries and regions where they go. Specifically, the Gilman Program offers scholarships for students who have been traditionally underrepresented in education abroad.
