Timeline for Award Distribution

Friday, December 4, 2009 – Award notifications sent via email and hard copy letter sent by postal mail to applicants selected to receive a Gilman Scholarship.
Friday, December 11, 2009 – Deadline for online award documents to be electronically submitted to the Gilman Scholarship Program.
Friday, December 18, 2009 – Postmark deadline for hard copy award documents (documents to be printed and signed) to be submitted to the Gilman Scholarship Program either scanned and sent by email to gilmanforms@iie.org or by postal mail to: Institute of International Education, ATTN: Gilman Award Documentation, 1800 West Loop South, Suite 250, Houston, TX 77027
Award Documentation Complete – The Gilman Scholarship Program will notify award recipients when their award documentation is complete and when the scholarship check will be sent. Award checks are sent approximately 2-3 weeks after your award documentation is complete.
