Spring 2010 and Summer 2010 Timeline

The Spring 2010 application cycle is for programs beginning between December 15, 2009 and April 15, 2010. This cycle encompasses spring semester, quarter, calendar year, winter inter-session, January term, and summer 2010 programs that are a minimum of 28 days in length. The Gilman Scholarship Program will be piloting a special Summer 2010 cycle for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) field disciplines. August 20, 2009	Online Application opens for Spring 2010 and Summer 2010 application cycle.
October 6, 2009	Student Deadline for submission of online application.
October 9, 2009	Postmark Deadline for official, university undergraduate transcripts. Applicants must submit three copies of their undergraduate transcript from their current university and most recently attended transfer institution, if applicable.
October 13, 2009	Advisor Deadline for submission of online Study Abroad Advisor and Financial Aid Advisor certification.
October/ November 2009	Complete Applications are processed and distributed to selection panels for review.
Early December 2009	All Applicants are notified of the status of their application via email. Study Abroad and Financial Aid Advisors will be notified of scholarship recipients via email.
Mid-December 2009	Award Recipients must accept/decline their award and send in required documentation.
