Ways to Support IIE
The following are examples of opportunities to support the work of IIE, the world's leader in the international exchange of people and ideas:
Unrestricted Support - critical support that IIE uses for maintaining, developing, and strengthening its 200 programs. Unrestricted support is particularly valuable because it allows IIE to target financial gifts to areas of particular need.
Scholar Rescue Fund - an endowment to support individual scholars whose life, security or work is threatened in their home region. The program rescues scholars from societies in crisis, and provides financial support and a safe haven for scholars stranded outside of their home countries. This fund is part of IIE's long tradition of aid to those driven from their countries.
Fulbright Legacy Fund - a newly-created endowment aimed at extending the goals of the Fulbright program beyond the duration of the fellowship. The Fund will be used to provide grants to returning Fulbright students and scholars to implement projects that benefit their home societies and foster a more sustained relationship between their home and host institutions.
Scholarship Support - support an IIE student, scholar, or professional in one of IIE's many scholarship programs by supplementing or sponsoring their grant award. Donors may also establish an endowed scholarship that will bear their name or a name of their choosing in perpetuity.
Regional Centers - help internationalize communities across the United States by strengthening IIE's vital national network and supporting one of IIE's four U.S. regional centers in Chicago, Denver, Houston, or San Francisco.
