IIE assists the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State in the conduct of the Fulbright Program for both American and foreign students and scholars. IIE provides academic placement and supervision of Fulbright graduate fellows from Latin America and the Caribbean studying in the United States and arranges pre-academic orientation and English language programs.
