Daniel Obst provides strategic leadership in the creation and implementation of international academic partnerships, and oversees all the activities of IIE’s network of 1,100 member institutions, IIE’s print publications and online directories, conferences, and seminars.
He is the editor of IIENetworker, IIE’s international education magazine, and executive editor of IIE’s Global Education Research Reports series. Mr. Obst recently co-edited a new book funded by the EU-U.S. Atlantis Program, Joint and Double Degree Programs: An Emerging Model for Transatlantic Exchange, and co-authored two white papers in IIE’s series on Meeting America’s Global Education Challenge.
Mr. Obst received his BA in international relations from The George Washington University and holds a master's degree in European studies from the London School of Economics.
