There are fifty U.S. education information centers located throughout Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean which provide information on U.S. academic institutions, application procedures, admissions tests, and scholarships. These centers receive information and training support from the Educational Information and Resources Branch of the U.S. Department of State and the Regional Educational Advising Consultancy for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, which is based at the Institute of International Education in Mexico City.
