IIE research staff has extensive experience in carrying out all stages of a program evaluation, from assessing program process and implementation, to examining outcomes and program impact. Our evaluation work has focused primarily on assessing the effectiveness of international fellowship and scholarship programs that benefit undergraduate students, graduate (post-graduate) students, faculty, and mid-career professionals.  Most of our evaluations have required a multi-method approach that combines qualitative and quantitative analysis, but we also have the capability to design and conduct evaluations that use a random assignment design. Case Study: DAAD's RISE Program - Research Internships in Science and Engineering
