Freeman-EAS: Freeman Emergency Assistance for Students |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The Freeman-EAS Program, generously sponsored by the Freeman Foundation, offers emergency educational allowances to undergraduate students from Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand at a regionally accredited US institution whose ability to pursue their studies has been seriously affected by the December 2004 earthquake/tsunami. US campuses are invited to nominate up to four (4) individuals for whom help is especially needed.
Applications for Freeman-EAS assistance must come from an International Student Adviser on a US campus. If you are an International Student Adviser and would like to request a nomination form, please email FreemanEAS@iie.org. STUDENTS CANNOT APPLY DIRECTLY. They must apply through their adviser. Donations are welcome to help support students from other countries in Asia affected by the tsunami. Please contact Daniela Kaisth at dkaisth@iie.org or 212-984-5381 to contribute funds.
