Responsible Water Resources Management for Sustainable Development

Young researcher conducts lab work at Samara State Technical University, Samara, Russia.The goal of the project is to identify the impact industrial waters have on water management in Russia and to better articulate the problems it presents to different targeted groups, such as citizens, specialists and the government. Local-level research is focusing on oily wastewater cleaning and polluted water treatment. In addition, project administrators are organizing competitions for post-graduate research on water management and oily wastewater cleaning technology and are supporting post-graduate students' research.

After the research is completed, the Fund for Sustainable Development and its partners will communicate and share the results of their activities. The findings will help introduce new teaching materials and guidelines to students, specialists and the government.
