Young people will take part in the DESPEGA program, a specialized online professional training program. DESPEGA's goal is to enable participants to acquire the competencies (knowledge, values and attitudes) and skills needed to achieve optimum performance in the workplace. The online training sessions will be available through the program's e-learning platform. There will be a permanent mentoring team supporting the platform.
2. Paid Internships:
FEUGA will use its extensive network of partner companies to identify small and medium-sized manufacturers in to host internships. Consequently, FEUGA will match participants with companies and oversee their internship experience.
3. Career Planning and Placement:
Participants will attend a "Talent Development: Career Planning" training program, which will be a combination of group sessions and individual career counseling. As part of this training, participants will receive individualized career counseling and coaching. In addition, participants will learn how to draft resumes and cover letters, as well as how to complete job applications and conduct a general job search.
