Corporate Partners host one or more interns from the Brazil Scientific Mobility Program during the summer of their grants. Participating internship providers are not required to sign a contract with the program or to provide any funding for scholarships; becoming a partner simply eases your communication with IIE and allows Brazilian government sponsors to more easily note your participation.
Becoming a Corporate Partner
It's easy to host interns from the Brazil Scientific Mobility Program - and there is no cost to the internship provider for matching services, visa sponsorship, or monitoring. All of these are provided by the Brazilian government through IIE. To join, please email Laura Giles at LGiles@iie.org.

IIE will provide all work authorization and visa administration throughout the internship. No visa sponsorship or administration is required of the Corporate Partner.

The IIE Academic Training Website
IIE uses a Career Services Management site to connect employers with student interns. It is free to join and all potential internship providers are invited to create a free profile on this site. You can post internship descriptions, review resumes, target specific students for recruitment based on search criteria, and manage student applications.

If you prefer to receive a book of resumes for students that fit certain parameters (field of study, university, etc), please email your search criteria to Laura Giles at LGiles@iie.org.

Employers providing internships should be prepared to:
- Provide a meaningful internship experience related to student’s field of study.
- Ensure that the internship lasts for a minimum of 35 hours per week for eight to 16 weeks (with some exceptions).
- Assist with locating appropriate temporary housing that is near to public transportation or that provides an easy commute.
- Provide regular feedback to the student (schedule meetings to review assignments, offer guidance, career and education advice) as well as a written evaluation of the student at the conclusion of the internship.
- Sign several forms (provided by IIE) confirming the student's internship offer, arrival, and completion of internship activities.
