What are the GE STAR Awards?

The GE STAR Awards competition is open only to children of eligible GE employees and retirees worldwide. Recipients, chosen through a selective application process, are granted a one-time award to defray first-year higher education expenses. This program also provides an award to the high school of the selected recipients.

Who should apply?

Children of eligible GE employees and retirees who are currently enrolled at the highest level of studies available at the higher/upper secondary school level and are enrolling for the first time in post-secondary / tertiary education

What is the GE Foundation?

The GE Foundation is the philanthropic organization of GE. For over 50 years, it has invested in programs based on a fundamental premise: a quality education ushers in a lifetime of opportunity, which helps build a strong and diverse workforce and citizenry.
