Award Distribution

The Gilman Scholarship Program will notify award recipients when their award documentation is complete, approved and when their scholarship funds will either be deposited directly into their bank account or when their scholarship check will be sent (option selected in online award documentation). Award checks are sent approximately 2-3 weeks after your award documentation is complete.

Spring

Early December  Award notifications sent via email and hard copy letter sent by postal mail to applicants selected to receive a Gilman Scholarship.
December  Deadline for award documentation to be uploaded and electronically submitted to the Gilman Scholarship Program through your Gilman online account.

Summer Early Application

February Award notifications sent via email and hard copy letter sent by postal mail to applicants selected to receive a Gilman Scholarship.
March Deadline for award documentation to be uploaded and electronically submitted to the Gilman Scholarship Program through your Gilman online account.

Summer 

Late April Award notifications sent via email and hard copy letter sent by postal mail to applicants selected to receive a Gilman Scholarship.
May Deadline for award documentation to be uploaded and electronically submitted to the Gilman Scholarship Program through your Gilman online account.

Fall 

May 
Award notifications sent via email and hard copy letter sent by postal mail to applicants selected to receive a Gilman Scholarship.
June  Deadline for award documentation to be uploaded and electronically submitted to the Gilman Scholarship Program through your Gilman online account.
