The Indonesian International Education Foundation (IIEF) is an educational organization in Indonesia in cooperation with the Institute of International Education (IIE). IIE is the largest and most experience non-profit private educational exchange organization in the world. Through this cooperation, IIEF administers various educational scholarship programs for study in Indonesia and abroad, including a number of short-term training and programs for professionals and scholars funded by international sponsor institutions. IIEF introduces American higher education to Indonesian public through Annual Education Fairs. In addition, IIEF also disseminates information on the development of education in Indonesia to teachers and students abroad through IIE’s network.
IIEF in cooperation with Educational Testing Service and Prometric administer a variety of tests in order to support application to various universities abroad. Furthermore, IIEF also cooperates with other institutions to administer other professional certification examinations.
IIEF provides information regarding employment opportunities for Indonesian students who have finished their studies abroad and returned to Indonesia through a publication called “Returning to Indonesia”. IIEF also assists American students and scholars/teachers in conducting short-term student exchange programs in Indonesia to advance education. IIEF also assists Sabre Foundation in distributing books which are donated to higher education institutions in Indonesia.
For the 2011-2012 IELSP program, IIE will partner with intensive English programs (IEPs) at four universities which IIE has strong working relationships with. The four IEPs represent a geographically diverse group with substantial experience in hosting international students and delivering intensive English language programs. These institutions will provide IELSP participants with a safe and secure environment with excellent opportunities to learn, interact with American peers and practice their English language skills both on and off campus.

- Arizona State University (ASU), located in Tempe, AZ, is known for its high caliber intensive English training and cross-cultural experiences.
