The King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, a graduate university in Saudi Arabia, opened its doors in 2009 inspiring a new era of scientific achievement in the Kingdom, the region, and the world.

IIE administers the KAUST Gifted Student Program on behalf of the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). The program provides scholarships to highly-talented Saudi students to complete undergraduate degrees at top-tier US universities, prior to joining one of the M.S. programs at KAUST.
IIE administered the KAUST Discovery Scholarship program from 2008-2010. The program enabled talented undergraduates in science and technology globally to pursue, upon graduation, an advanced degree in one of KAUST's eleven fields of study and opportunities to collaborate in innovative research with preeminent KAUST faculty and graduate students from around the world.
KAUST engages students, faculty, and researchers in advancing science and technology through bold and collaborative inquiry focused on issues of regional and global significance.
