The WES Business Award provides opportunities for WES graduates to strengthen their business plans and compete for small grants to launch or expand businesses. Look for information on the next award cycle on the WES website.

Independent selection committees select the winners based on the following criteria: Clarity of Vision, Market Opportunity, Profitability and Financial Feasibility, and Management Capability.

During each award cycle, three awards are given at each WES Center, two awards for TND 1000 and one award for TND 2000.

Funding for this opportunity was made possible by the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) of the U.S. Department of State with support from Craig Newmark, founder of Craigslist.

The winners are aspiring and emerging women entrepreneurs who have benefited from training at WES Entrepreneurship Centers across Tunisia. The winners receive small grants to help them launch or expand businesses.
