West Coast Center Distinguished Service Award |
The Institute of International Education- West Coast Center Distinguished Service Award is presented annually to a Bay Area leader who has made a significant contribution to furthering the IIE goals of investing in people and linking nations.
The Award Ceremony occurs at a gala dinner in San Francisco where community and business leaders celebrate their own commitment to international education. The evening is made more festive by the presence of many Fulbright students and scholars who are studying in the
Bay Area. Recent recipients of the prestigious Award include Venture Capitalist Pitch Johnson, Mark Anson of CalPERS, Philanthropist Richard Goldman, Senator Dianne Feinstein, Charlotte Maillard and George Shultz, John Morgridge of Cisco Systems, and Craig Barrett of Intel. |
