Overview
IIE's Southeast Asia regional center, based in Bangkok, Thailand, was opened in 1962 as IIE's first office in Asia. The Bangkok office provides educational programming and serves as an EducationUSA advising center, offering a wide range of advising and testing services to local students, advisors, and educators with the support of the U.S. Department of State. The office represents the Educational Testing Service (ETS) with the TOEFL program and administers a number of scholarship programs including serving as the regional hub for the KAUST Discovery Scholars.
