Lexi joined the Institute of International Education in 2011 to support the TechWomen program. Prior to joining IIE, Lexi participated in Beyond Bridges: Israel-Palestine, a conflict transformation program implemented by Abraham’s Vision in partnership with the University of San Francisco. Lexi remained in Jerusalem to volunteer with civil rights organization Ir Amim, where she co-authored an article for the Palestine-Israel Journal titled “Toward a Viable Jerusalem: The Work of Ir Amim.” Living in Jerusalem fostered Lexi’s interest in cultural and professional exchange as a vehicle for peaceful and sustainable conflict resolution. Lexi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Global and International Studies with a concentration in the Middle East and a minor in Education from the University of California Santa Barbara. In the future, Lexi plans to study Arabic and pursue a graduate degree that melds her passions for conflict transformation, education and technology.
