What is the ACE for Women's Leadership program?
The Institute of International Education in Ethiopia has designed the African Centers of Excellence for Women’s Leadership (ACE) program, with funding from The David and Lucile Packard Foundation. The program provides capacity enhancement for women in Africa and works with four women-led East African institutes empowering women in the areas of economic empowerment, girl’s education and reproductive health.

What is the goal of the program?
The goal of the ACE for Women’s Leadership Program is to mobilize key women’s organizations and world class leadership resources so that leading organizations in East Africa can provide sustainable strategic leadership development and other services for women and network effectively.
Where is the program based?
The program is based in four countries: Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya and Rwanda
Who are the program's partners?
The partner organizations have from 7 to 20 years of experience working on women’s empowerment programs, ranging from socio-economic advancement to feminist leadership development.
