Resources for Study Abroad

The following resources will help you on your way to studying abroad. You can:

• Check your new GI Bill eligibility
• Research the IIEPassport Study Abroad Directories to find a program by the country, city, language, or subject of your interest
• Search the IIEPassport Study Abroad Funding database to find additional funding opportunities by region/country, field of study, scholarship name or keyword
• Check out the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program, which provides awards to participate in study abroad programs for U.S. undergraduate students who are receiving Federal Pell Grant funding at two-year or four-year colleges
 
• Learn about the Boren Scholarships and Fellowships which provide unique funding opportunities for U.S. undergraduate and graduate students interested in geographic areas, languages and fields of study that are critical to U.S. interests and underrepresented in study abroad
• Visit the iie.org Student Gateway to learn about more programs, opportunities and your fellow students' experiences studying abroad
• Have your certifying official approve the selected program

Be sure to coordinate study abroad enrollment and financial arrangements with the Veterans Affairs office on your campus.
