Gilman Scholarship Program Advisor Workshops

Jamie Besier

Gilman Program staff will conduct in-depth workshops taking place in IIE Offices. These half-day, interactive workshops will provide key program information and advising methods to help support applicants in submitting competitive applications and promoting the Gilman Program on campus. The session will include an alumni speaker, group discussion, and an application writing activity. Light refreshments will be provided. Registration is free, but space is limited. We hope you will join us!

Advisor Workshop

In an effort to provide you with continuous information on international programs for U.S. students, IIE is excited to invite you to attend an Advisor Workshop providing in-depth and interactive overviews and advising recommendations on the following programs: the U.S. Department of State's Gilman International Scholarship Program and the Fulbright U.S. Student Program.

IIE Generation Study Abroad & Scholarship Opportunities Workshops

This workshop will provide program overviews and advising recommendations for IIE administered grants, including the U.S. Department of State’s Fulbright U.S. Student Program and Gilman International Scholarship Program, and the National Security Education Program’s Boren Scholarships & Fellowships. The workshop will also provide information about Generation Study Abroad, a five-year initiative launched by IIE in March 2014 to double the number of U.S. students studying abroad by the end of the decade. Please join us!
