The Christensen Fund believes in the power of biological and cultural diversity to sustain and enrich a world faced with great change and uncertainty.

What Is the Indigenous Biocultural Exchange Fund?

The Indigenous Biocultural Exchange Fund offers opportunities to attend a global biocultural event/exchange or a meeting of international significance which impacts the applicant’s home territory or region. This fund supports indigenous peoples and local communities to have a voice in the policies and forums that concern biocultural diversity at a global level.

Applications are being accepted for meetings/exchanges during the October 2013 – January 2014 period.

The deadline to apply is July 1, 2013.

Decisions on applications submitted will be made in August 2014.
