Q. Who is eligible to apply?
- The children of Invensys employees who are employed full-time and part-time excluding contractors and temporary workers.
- Candidates must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program during the 2014 calendar year.

Q. Do I need to study a specific field?
- The candidate may study any field as long as they are pursuing their first university degree.

Q. What are the selection criteria?
- Academic ability and achievement including class rank, grade point average, extra-curricular activities, community service and demonstrated leadership.
- An academic application including two personal essays, study plan, academic school records and letters of reference must be submitted.
- Selection of grantees will be based on merit, achievement and promise.

Q. What is the amount of the scholarship award?
- The amount of the scholarship is currently set at $1,000 per year for a maximum of four years.Scholarship amounts are the same for all grantees.

Q. Are the grants renewable?
- Grants are renewable for up to four years of full-time study leading to a first university degree or completion of degree requirements, whichever is earlier.
- Grantees’ academic progress will be reviewed annually. Those grantees who show satisfactory academic performance and who are making satisfactory progress toward the completion of their degree requirements as demonstrated on their transcripts and the form completed by their academic advisor will have their grants renewed annually.

Q. What languages can I use to complete the application forms?
- The applications forms must be completed in English, Spanish or Portuguese.

Q. If taxes are due on the grant, who is responsible for them?
- Either the grantee or the grantee’s parent is responsible, whomever is deemed to have incurred a tax liability.

- January 31, 2013 for the Application Request Form.
- April 30, 2013 for the full academic application.
