About Japan

  • The total number of students from the top sending countries has remained consistent over the past several years, with China, South Korea, Vietnam and Taiwan sending the most students to Japan. The United States contributed less than two percent to the international student population.
  • Undergraduate students made up 41.1 percent of the international student total. Of the entire cohort, the most popular academic fields included Business and Management, Humanities and Engineering.
