    Government Partners

    The Institute of International Education works on behalf of the United States Government and governments around the world to implement many of the world's most prestigious educational exchange and training programs. IIE is honored to administer a strategic set of programs on behalf of the U.S. Department of State, including the Fulbright Student and Scholar Programs, the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowships, the Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship Program, and the International Visitors Leadership Program.

    Corporations and Corporate Foundations

    IIE works with corporations to develop talent in strategic world regions and professional fields such as engineering, management, health, and information technology. These programs bring global recognition to corporations for their philanthropic and educational investments. IIE partners with corporations and corporate foundations to design and implement a wide variety of scholarship and training programs that provide current and future employees with the academic training, cross-cultural skills and leadership needed to succeed in the 21st century.

    Private Foundations

    With the support of private foundations, IIE implements scholarship and training programs that develop human capital and address key challenges in education and development around the world. These initiatives provide educational opportunities to outstanding individuals from disadvantaged groups; convene experts and thought leaders; and build leadership in countries undergoing transformation.

  • International Agency

    International Organizations

    IIE assists international agencies, such as the International Monetary Fund and the International Labor Organization, in implementing programs that develop talent and address urgent global challenges. IIE services include the recruitment, screening, and selection of scholarship grantees worldwide; contracting of consultants with facilitation of their travel, insurance and meeting arrangements; and administration of grants to individual or organizational grantees with operational oversight and tax compliance.
