2013 T&T NGO Professionals Seminar!
The Institute of International Education, in partnership with the Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, and local T&T NGO Veni Apwann, convened the 2013 T&T NGO Professionals Seminar at the Hyatt Regency Trinidad on May 15th. Funded by the JB Fernandes Memorial Trust, this in depth one-day conference attracted over 50 NGO, CBO and civil society professionals working within Trinidad and Tobago. The seminar, entitled, Enhancing Your Organisation’s Civil Society Voice: Communications Strategies for NGO Success allowed attendees to meet, network and share best practices in non-profit communications. Seminar speakers presented strategies for strengthening organisations' communications plans, branding, telling your organisational story through video, new media technologies and conducting relationships with traditional media and journalists.
