Country Highlights:

Given the recent initiatives of the current US and Indonesia Government, it has become increasingly important to expand educational exchange programs. According to Open Doors, in 2011/12 academic year, there are 7.131 students from Indonesia were studying in the United States (up 2.7% from the previous year).   By the fact of around 1.300 visitors at the 2012 Jakarta Fair, and more than 300 visitors in Surabaya, you can hand out a very informative and good supplement to the prospective Indonesian students as well as representatives from schools and universities with less expensive than visiting the schools one by one.  *source : Indonesia Open Doors Country Factsheets

Jakarta :
Jakarta is the capital city and the largest city in Indonesia.  As the largest city, Jakarta has a large number  of students from various place in Indonesia. There are a variety of primary and secondary schools in Jakarta, tagged with public (national), private (national and bi-lingual national plus) and international schools.

Surabaya :
Surabaya is the second largest city in Indonesia and the most populous city after Jakarta. Enriched by its facilities, and geography advantages, Surabaya has great economic potential. As the main education center, Surabaya has been the home for many students from around Indonesia, thus they have created their own community. We held the 1st fair in Surabaya last year, and there are around 300 people came to our fair.

Medan:
Medan is the fourth largest city in Indonesia and the largest population city in Sumatera Island and outside Java. Economic growth in North Sumatra showed an increasing trend in the last three years. Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of North Sumatra, deflation was recorded at 0.27%. Visa Information:

All travelers to Indonesia must be in possession of a passport that is valid for at least six months from the date of arrival, and have proof (tickets) of onward or return passage.  The Indonesian Government extends Visa on Arrival (VoA) to nationals of 63 countries which can be obtained at designated entry airports and sea ports. Visa-on-Arrival are valid for 30 days and are extendable with another 30 days to be applied at Immigration offices in Indonesia.
