Highlights
7,626 students from the “Land of Smiles” chose to pursue higher education in the United States in 2011- 2012, according to Open Doors. American universities and colleges continue to be Thai students’ most preferred international study destination.
Thailand's political, commercial, industrial and cultural hub, and Thailand’s most densely populated city, with about 12 million people. The IIE fair attracts the most visitors of any U.S. higher education fair held in Thailand each year. Last year, eager Thai and international students and their parents met with admissions officers from 47 institutions, with about 40% seeking undergraduate programs and 60% planning to pursue graduate studies.
