In its work around the world, the Institute's global offices and experienced staff have developed significant expertise, capabilities and best practices in a set of core areas. These include understanding important developments in international education; strengthening higher education institutions; building the capacity of individuals, especially women and those from under-represented populations, to address critical issues; and training future entrepreneurs, innovators and scientists. Our cutting edge approaches developed in these fields are formalized in a set of Centers of Excellence outlined below.
