Don Marshall is Executive Vice President of Wells Fargo. A native of Trinidad and Tobago in the West Indies, Mr. Marshall began his banking career with Citibank in Trinidad. After completing an Honors Finance undergraduate degree and graduate work in finance and International Business at the University of Texas at Austin, he joined First City National Bank of Houston. He handled managerial assignments in international, energy and minerals and corporate banking over the next 16 years. These posts included managing the Denver loan production office for 9 years and ultimately serving as senior vice president and manager of international banking.
Mr. Marshall joined Norwest Colorado in 1992. Following the merger of Norwest with Wells Fargo, he assumed responsibility for commercial and business banking in metropolitan Denver. He is a member of the Rocky Mountain Regional Board of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Board of Governors of the Metro Denver Network, and the Board of Trustees of the National Sports Center for the Disabled. Mr. Marshall is the Chair of the Institute's Rocky Mountain Regional Advisory Board and was elected to the national Board of Trustees in January 2001.
