Jorge Lopez teaches history at the Theodore Roosevelt Senior High in Los Angeles, CA. Since his journey his students have started their own environmental club. "The club's first project was to begin a recycling program. Students created recycling boxes, and they held days during and after school where they dedicated their time painting boxes, and expressing themselves creatively through them. One of these events was captured by a woman who has been on our campus recording and documenting students. She is in the works of creating a documentary that is going to be screened at next year's Sundance Film Festival."
