HOW TO QUALIFY FOR A U.S.-BASED COURSE
To qualify as a candidate for an ETP program, you must:
- be a working educational professional in an appropriate
field;
- have sufficient background to absorb the course material;
- be able to speak and read English at a high enough level
to understand technical materials;
- hold a bachelor's degree or higher, in a field relevant
to the training program; and
- be able to apply the training upon return to your country.
Your employer must do the following:
- sponsor you for consideration;
- agree to have you participate in and complete the proposed
training;
- pay your salary during training and roundtrip airfare;
and
- continue to employ you when your training is complete.
