Gas, Oil and Coal

Codes and Standards for Fossil Fuel Power Plants is for fossil fuel power plant operation and maintenance managers. Course familiarizes participants with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) codes and standards related to fossil power plants and to explain their impact.

Natural Gas Contract Negotiations is designed for senior-level government officials who will be responsible for negotiating natural gas sales and purchase agreements and power purchase agreements with international oil companies. The principle objective of this workshop is to cover the principles and provisions of gas sales and purchase agreements, which will be discussed in the overall context of planning for gas industry development.

Refinery Energy Conservation is for refinery engineers involved in unit contact, facilities design, site energy coordination, and utility and/or off-site engineering. Course provides comprehensive, hands-on training in all techniques effective in reducing energy consumption and improving operational efficiency of petroleum refineries.

Oil and Gas Exploration is for geologists and geophysicists involved in oil and gas exploration. Course increases the skills of technical professionals in the exploration of indigenous oil and gas resources. Course applies the latest principles and practices of tectonic and structural analysis, interpretation of depositional systems, analysis of basins for hydrocarbon potential, well logging, seismic analysis of structure, stratigraphy, reservoir characteristics, and computer applications in exploration.
