Summer 2008 Awards

For students applying to study abroad programs of 8 weeks or more with program start date between May-July.

The application cycle will open on January 23, 2008.

Fall 2008 & Academic Year 2008-09 Awards

For students applying to study abroad programs of 10 weeks or more with start date between August-November.

The application cycle will open on February 20, 2008.

Spring 2009 & Early Academic Year 2009-10 Awards

For students applying to study abroad programs of 10 weeks or more with start date between December-April.

The application cycle will open on September 3, 2008.

Applicants must make sure that the electronic endorsements from their Study Abroad Advisers and Financial Aid Advisers have been completed and submitted to IIE on the date of the deadline.

*Endorsed on-line applications by the Study Abroad Adviser and the Financial Aid Adviser must be received by the Institute of International Education (IIE) by 5:00pm EST on the date of the deadline for the specific cycle. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

Study Abroad Advisers and Financial Aid Advisers may set earlier campus deadlines for submission of the Freeman-ASIA Applications. Thus, applicants should contact their advisers about specific campus deadlines before proceeding with the Freeman-ASIA Applications.
