Spring 2006 Timeline

The Spring 2006 cycle is for programs beginning between December 15, 2005 and April 15, 2006. This cycle encompasses spring semester, quarter, calendar year, winter inter-session and January term programs that are a minimum of four weeks in length. May-term or Summer-only study abroad programs are not eligible. If your study abroad program begins immediately prior to or after these dates please contact the Gilman Program staff at gilman@iie.org.

Early August 2005	Online Application available for Spring application cycle.
September 20, 2005	Student Deadline for submission of online application.
September 23, 2005	Postmark Deadline for official, university undergraduate transcript. Applicants must submit three copies of their undergraduate transcript from their current university and and most recently attended transfer institution, if applicable.
September 23, 2005	Advisor Deadline for submission of online Study Abroad Advisor and Financial Aid Advisor section.
October/November	Complete Applications are processed and distributed to selection panels for review.
Late November	All Applicants are notified of the status of their application via email. Study Abroad and Financial Aid advisors will be notified of scholarship recipients only via email.
December 15, 2005	Award Recipients must accept/decline their award and send in required documentation.
