911 Armed Forces Scholarship Fund

The 911 Armed Forces Scholarship Fund is for the dependent children of active duty U.S. military personnel who were killed in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. This includes biological children, legally adopted children and step-children who were principally dependent on an active-duty military person for maintenance and support and when not in attendance at school, were permanently residing in the household in a parent/child relationship.

The scholarship grants are one-time awards for study leading to a certificate, associate’s or bachelor’s degree in the United States or its equivalent at an accredited post-secondary institution of their choice in any country.
