Leonora Lindsley Memorial Fellowship

The Leonora Lindsley Scholarship Fund is an endowment program whose purpose is to assist deserving French students in attending institutions of learning in the United States. Students must be those who participated in the French Resistance movement during the World War II, or are the children or descendants of those who took part in the Movement.

The Fulbright Commission in Paris gathers applications and sends them to IIE where they are reviewed for completeness and eligibility. Once this is done, a selection panel is convened and finalists chosen. The amount of the award varies from year to year depending on the market performance of the endowment but normally ranges from $6,000 to $12,000.
