You are trying to access a password protected page within IIE.org. Access to premium content is primarily a benefit for members of the IIENetwork membership association. This includes Open Doors® "All Institution" data tables for international students and study abroad, as well as more detailed information on the Heiskell Award winning programs highlighted on the Best Practices resource.
To obtain your password, or to find out whether your institution is a member, contact email@example.com.
Press and public policy researchers:
Please send an e-mail with your inquiry, your name and organization, and how the information will be used, to IIE's public affairs representative, Catherine Morris, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are an individual from an organization that is not an IIENetwork member, and you would like to access the members-only data, you may apply for a special one-month research membership by downloading the Online Research Membership form and returning it to IIE with your payment information as specified on the form.
Additional Open Doors Data
The Open Doors Report is published annually by the Institute of International Education (IIE) with support from the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Open Doors data is published in book form, with 140+ pages of data, analysis of key topics, and special features, including additional tables that do not appear online.
IIE's research department can provide some custom data and analysis from the Open Doors report, often for fee. Please see IIE's policy for providing custom research analysis, and fill out the IIE research request form.
To join the IIENetwork:
Visit the IIENetwork website for information on becoming a member and the benefits of membership. While most institutional members are higher education institutions or not-for-profit organizations, there is also an associate membership category for for-profit entities. There are also opportunities to advertise in selected print and online directories, to reach a wide range of U.S. and international students and international education professionals.
