Your Support Makes Our Work Possible

We are glad you received our Year in Review postcard!

2020 was a year like no other. But through it all, IIE remained steadfast in our mission to build closer connections across the world and open minds to new ideas and cultures.

IIE's 2020 At a Glance Report showcases the achievements made possible thanks to our generous supporters.

Thank you for the tremendous support you have shown to IIE. Our work would not be possible without you and our community!

IIE is gravely concerned about, and deeply saddened by, the situation in Afghanistan. We are receiving many requests for assistance amidst the ongoing crisis and are deploying all of the resources at our disposal to assist Afghan students, scholars, and artists. To learn more about IIE’s response and provide support, visit IIE’s Afghanistan Crisis Response page.

Tax Incentives for Charitable Giving in 2021
Congress has recognized that the gifts generous donors make to nonprofits are an essential way everyone can help in this crisis. You can help IIE support students and scholars while saving on your 2021 income taxes.

For those who don’t itemize their taxes: You can deduct up to $300 per taxpayer ($600 for a married couple) for charitable contributions.

For those who do itemize: You can deduct up to 100% of your adjusted gross income (AGI) for charitable contributions.

As always, you should consult your tax advisors. IIE does not provide tax advice.
