IIE has launched a coordinated, organization-wide response to activate the international education community and support Afghan university age students, scholars, and artists through this time of uncertainty and unrest. IIE is grateful for the generous support of our partners, including the Duolingo English Test, the Henry Luce Foundation, Inc., the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the Whiting Foundation, and many more friends of IIE.
We hope you will join IIE's response to the crisis. Your gift to IIE's emergency response in Afghanistan allows us to provide assistance where it’s needed most, including critical support for Afghan students, scholars, and artists under threat. With your help, we can do even more.
I want to support IIE:
Tax Incentives for Charitable Giving in 2021
Congress has recognized that the gifts generous donors make to nonprofits are an essential way everyone can help in this crisis. You can help IIE support students and scholars while saving on your 2021 income taxes.
For those who don’t itemize their taxes: You can deduct up to $300 per taxpayer ($600 for a married couple) for charitable contributions.
For those who do itemize: You can deduct up to 100% of your adjusted gross income (AGI) for charitable contributions.
As always, you should consult your tax advisors. IIE does not provide tax advice.
