Thus far, 42 higher education institutions have received IIE’s Seal of Excellence for achieving their Generation Study Abroad commitment goals. To better understand the keys to their success, four American University graduate students have conducted research through a collaborative partnership between IIE and AU’s School of International Service.
This webinar reviews their findings and new strategies for diversifying your study abroad population, leveraging faculty engagement, and designing innovative study abroad programming. In addition, we have invited leaders from a diverse set of these exceptional institutions to share their insights and lessons learned.

August 30, 2017 - “Building Study Abroad: U.S. Department of State’s MOOC & IIE’s Data-Driven Strategies”
The U.S. Department of State, in partnership with Arizona State University, illustrated the recently launched, free online course that will jump-start your institution’s study abroad program planning through actionable information and ready-to-use templates. IIE shared ways institutions can use data to capture internalization efforts and advocate for resources on campus.
